About the Farm
Our Story
It started with a fascination with dahlias. Then two rows turned into a dozen. Then over a hundred varieties and a deep love for the beauty and elegance of these blooms.
We grow everything ourselves on our farm in Maine. We divide and inspect every tuber by hand. We know which varieties thrive in our clay soil and which ones need babying through a cold June. That's the kind of thing you learn when you do this yourself, season after season.

Small on Purpose
Over 100 varieties, but we keep quantities limited. Every tuber we sell is one we grew.
Grown with love and joy.
We focus on soil health and let the plants grow to their fullest potential. Healthy soil makes healthy tubers.
Earned Varieties
We trial new varieties from Europe and from American hybridizers every year, and only the ones that stun us AND perform well make the cut. Everything in our shop has proven itself.
Fellow Growers
We like seeing photos of our tubers blooming in someone else's garden.
